Eckhart Tolle: How is the ego

The ego does not exist apart from the ideas. Identification with the ego thoughts. But ideas, that pass through your mind, are of course linked to the collective mind of culture, in which humanity as a whole lives. So these are not your thoughts, as such,, but you pick them from the collective mind - most of them. A ztotožňuješ with thinking and thinking, this identification with the ego becomes. It simply means, believe that all ideas, that arise and who you are - odvozuješ from that, what your mind tells you about you. A surmise is: "It's me."
